You can go fast and cheap, but it won't be reliable. You can go fast and reliable, but it won't be cheap...or you can do cheap and reliable. Your choice.

If money is no object...you can have a 600 HP tiburon, upgraded axles and clutch, with a LSD to handle the power, plus a decent suspension to handle the speeds, plus a big brake kit to stop when done, for about $15,000. Properly run and properly maintained, it should be good for an occasional car, but not for a daily driver.

For a daily driver, I reccomend you go the same route RED is taking. Only about 300 to 350 HP, but more reliability, and easier to daily drive the car.

What you really need to do is make some plans. You need a HP goal, and you need to decide how you want to get there. Nitrous, Supercharger or Turbo. Then we can help map out a course for you to take to get there.<img src=/images/forums/snitz/thumbup.gif width=25 height=18 border=0>
