We should be realistic when it comes to tuning our cars and assessing their potential; the VVT head or engine alone may give us a slight advantage against the lower-powered opponent, but against VVT that can be tuned to higher levels such as the system used in Nissan SR20VET we will still need work to make up the difference in performance[the SR20VET stock puts out over 278BHP, but this engine is turbocharged and the VVT on this engine is tuned to suit the application of turbo]
When it is released to the consumer market we might analyze it and see if there is any way to create a more potent system, but before then we can only hope.
