Check engine light
ok I did a search and did read the other post on this, so heres my deal.
Drove to MN car was fine started to run a little louder when I got home, no biggie I was in need of an oil change, so Tuesday Im driving around all day .. no problems, let the car sit for a few hours while my friends drove at night, come back to my car and the check engine light is on.. Take it to the dealership yesterday, they look at it said theres nothing wrong, that my gas cap wasnt on tight enough, as Im like ok.. I always click my gas cap to a lock but whatever.. so they did my oil change ( i originally thought this had something to do with it i was way over when i should have had one), car was running great all night, was running quick picking up I was happy and stopped screaming that I was trading my car in.. we parked to talk to some guys about thier cars I turn my car back on and BAM lights on again, I didnt get gas or anything so its not like I didnt put the gas cap on tight enough or whatever.. SO I call them while Im at work today, and the guys like are you sure you didnt get gas? ... so I kinda got an attitude with him about how I just had my car in and that same night the light comes back and his final answer to me after im like I want my car looked at again.. was to just "reset my computer, because theres nothing wrong with my car" ... Sorry for hte longness of this post.. but .. I know jackshit about cars so anyone with ANY idea of what could be wrong.. lemme know =) .. since right now im thinkin I'll have one of my friends reset my computer and if it breaks ill throw it back at them that I brought my car in and that I called, so they can just shove it and fix it. :ermm:
