The HVE 4-1 extractors come with an collector diameter of 2.25". The good thing is that being a cone shape, if you are fitting a larger than 2.25" exhaust, you simply cut back this collector a few mm to make the outlet larger. Just be careful that you do not cut off too much, as the collector will need to butt up neatly to the pipe it is welded onto to give a smooth flow of the exhaust gas.
For the 1.8 litre motors, HVE has alway fitted a 2.25" cat back system, where for a 2.0 litre motor, a 2.5" system is fitted.
