is the engine not starting cause it needs a richer fuel mixture when the engine's cold? do you have a carb or fuel injection? maybe the choke isn't working. might buy a can of "quick start" (highly flammable spray) at a parts store, and spray it into the throttle body and then see if she starts up easier.
