I have a 99 Accent (custom CAI w/ bypass valve) - also...mave sure the arrow on the MAF is pointing toward the TB (trottle body). Also, make sure you cut a hole for the AIT (air temp sensor). Try that & make sure to reset you ECU by disconecting the batter for 10 min or so.
