not much cuz doesn't the aos just go under the battery? it shouldn't be exposed to the outside air as well as the aem. you should be fine. if you're unsure, just unhook it and put a regular filter on it. that's what i do when it starts pouring outside..i have an aem w/o bypass....still waiting for it to be sent.
