I just came back from a few shops enquiring.
One shop mentioned the VR4 RS Turbo engine(4g63T?) for RM10000 + exhaust and front disc brakes + all labor work + exhaust. Gives about 200++ HP. This guy is a reknowned track specialist. Does up a lot of racers cars, he showed me one car he just transplanted the Satria GTI with a VR4 turbo engine.
I've heard variations from various people doing the transplant from as low as RM3000 full works to RM10000 the highest.
He did mention supercharging it would come around RM4-5K for around 150 HP and top speed around 220km/h. I wonder if anyone else around my state does this too.. hmm
I also dropped by speedworks which gave me a quotation for suspension, Hotbits goes for RM2600 and another for RM3800. Kinda pricey cuz I've heard a lot of variations for Hot Bits springs here, from RM600-RM4000. They all look the same??
I guess since I still like the engine, I'm gonna do up the suspensions, exhaust first, and by August I'll decide whether to put in a VR4 or a supercharger. I'm leaning more on the supercharger due to costs. What do you guys think?
Oh and not forgetting to repaint my car!
