If I remember correctly there are 3 screws to get the headlight housing out of the car.
To get the actual light bulb out you need to push in a metal spring clamp, it sorta looks like a large bent paper clip. Once you remove the dust cover (rubber piece) & unplut the lights its easy to see whats going on. Maybe have a mirror handy so you can see how it looks back there. Once you got the headlight bulbs & housing out. Take some needle nose pliers & break up the orange piece a few times till you can pull it out the hole.

It seems complicated at 1st but its not really shouldnt take u more than 40mins to do. Im assuming this is your 1st mod, good luck & take your time. Let us know how it works out for u. This is one of the most attempted mods for the lc owners so do a search tons of similar info will come up for you to check out.
