royal purple is suppose to be "THE SHIT" like redline.

fully synthetic are supposed to be "BAD" for HLAs. It has do something with a 10w30 fully synthetic is thinner then a dino oil. so its really like a 7w25. slightly lower oil pressure.
While yes... Fully Synthetic is better then Dino Oil, its seems Synthetic blend is best in most engines.
Its combines the better quality of the synthetic with the texture of normal oil.
You should never run anything higher then a 40w in a modern motor, the oil is to thick to fill into the pin hole on the HLAs and into the smaller modern engine oil galleries.
(( Now my opinion ))
With any oil change. brand and/or weight. run a motor flush.
Most common motor flush found at Pep boys and Advanced auto is
gunk 5 min engine flush
eagle one engine flush.
GUNK is far superior.
My fav brand of engine oil is 5w30 castrol syntec blend
