Default LC engine swap information and random meanderings

the previous thread on basic hyundai swap information was extremely helpful, however it was mostly geared towards engine swaps in regards to the x3 accent. i was wondering what engines have been successfully and reliably swapped into the LC accents, specifically i'm wondering if anyone has swapped in the beta engines or larger? (is it possible to put a delta or other manufacturer v6 into the accent?) also, i was wondering if someone has information regarding the difference in performance of MAP vs MAF and how to compensate for the swapping in a MAF engine (as i believe the beta is) in place of the MAP based alpha2 (which if i read correctly is the engine found 2k+ accents).

someone also recommended swapping in the transmission from the tiburon if one were to load in the beta engine. is this transmission 6 speed? if not, are there any transmissions which are that anyone has successfully swapped? how difficult, possible, impossible is it to swap in and enable AWD or 4WD in a accent? how was this accomplished in the WRC accent? what transmission did they use?

I know that's lots of questions, hopefully I can fish up a few answers.
