My dealership charges $279 to change the timing belt but thats toyota, Hyundai actually has a higher labor rate on Long Island so go ask them but yea, you have to line up the cam and crank and stuff and without light in the right spots or a mirrior, its not worht it

My dealer charges $349 to R&R the timing belt, which is slightly higher tham my own shop rate (at $325 for most cars).
I sometimes remove the motor and do it on the bench with some cars.
