dude they aren't making anymore hoods dan told me himself, bob at class glass doesn't do carbon fiber anymore, it was just getting to costly for dan as well. And to jack yes ours has the bracing with the steel striker plate so we can use the stock latch. Bob's design was very good just some of the carbon fiber that got laid was laid by the less experienced guys. If you take a look at any fiber images hood, the kore hood is designed the same exact way, with just a fiberglass frame on the outside and the rest is just carbon fiber, if you look at cheaper designs they are just fiberglass hoods with carbon weave on the very top layer. Shark racing has had that buy for well over a year, just face it its not happening.
