Default Programmable ECU Replacement.

Hi everyone

While I am contemplating either going forced induction or a moderately high NA conversion, I like to get my electronics settled first.

No doubt the SAFC2 gives me certain control over the A/F ratio, but it cannot increase fuel for me on WOT as my engine is a Beta 2 which runs on MAP. On top of everything else, I cannot control ignition timing...with such limitation, tuning a TC or high spec camshaft is going to be really difficult. I dont think the Greddy Emanage is good consideration as the hardware is going to cost me USD800, and the software are fixed for certain Japanese cars only.

I am deciding whether I should replace my OEM ECU to either a Ultronic or a Microtech. Does anyone here have any experience with these brands, and am I just throwing away USD1500 out the window for:

Boosting the car between 5 to 7psi or High Spec Cams at 272 or 285 at 10.5?
