if oyu know how to operate the software and have a computer to hook up to it, it can be tuned anywhere. i think if you even have a laptop you can do some crazy stuff with it while driving and monitor stuff at real time. there are other people here who have this installed in their car.. LobertGA is one that i can think off of the top of my head
