Default MHP Intake

This one goes out to all the old schoolers who remember MHPTunnig. When i first got my 2K Tiburon I got the MHP Intake I believe that was the only one available at the time. I felt a pretty good power increase it’s been 3 years now and i felt like getting a new intake. So, I went with he AEM for my Tib and now i feel like i have lost some power. I feel like the MHP one had a better response then the AEM. I've only had the AEM on my car for a week and i feel a little power loss from the AEM compared to the MHP. So now i come to a conclusion did i do something wrong in the install?? I did reset the ECU. I'm not sure what to do but I’m starting to think i might sell my AEM intake and put back the MHP. Any help or advice would be appreciated.
