I got a 01 Accent 1.6L GL.One of my factory ignition wires blew out the side recently. But that gave me a check engine light. You may also want to change your fuel filter.. you may have had a bad batch of gas. Fuel fitler is easy to change, pick up the back seat, and there is a cover to remove.. fuel fitler is under there, with quick disconnects on the hose... took me only a few minutes. Fuel filter cost me $14 (Wix 33235).
My car has also ran rough since purchased. Removing the factory Champion plugs and putting in NGK's helped alot.
