get a 96 accent GT. its still a 1.5 but its a DOHC and its got a 7,000 redline. i know they made it in 97 as well but i dont know about 98; maybe.
and make sure you boost it because youll probably regret all the money youve spent if you stay N/A.
get stock pistons from a turbo hyundai s-coupe and they will fit in that engine. you can also use the s-coupe manifold but a tube style is obviously better and the OEM one only has a flange for a T2 turbo.
pretty easy to get suspension and other mods for it as well compared to the newer accent and other hyundais as well.
