Actually the weight increase is not that much because the V6 has an aluminum block. This creates a whole new problem with the fact the V6 can't handle much more the 250whp.

Therefore the swap would be completely pointless due to the fact it would be cheaper to boost the current engine to get that amount of power then to swap the V6 and built it to that amout of power.

There is a replacement for displacement. It is on 2 wheels and 600cc.
