Default Re: Slotted vs. Drilled

I feel alot better after reading this thread!!

I just bought a set of front/rear disc's from a group buy on Hyundai Aftermarket.I ordered drilled/slotted,but received slotted only. I was thinking about sending them back to be drilled, but now I won't.Between what I've read here and what my dad says(he's a 30 + year VW mechanic) I think I'm better off with what I got.

One other thing,though..........I was reading somewhere that slotted dis'c eat up the pads pretty quick. Is this true? If so, what is the average pad life with slotted only disc's??

Thanks
