Default Re: Auto-Manual wiring swap goof

Well, I started my car last week and it's running, but I can't seem to be able to get a nice idle. Once it's heated up, the idle won't stop going up and down and will eventually stall.

Spikie: I looked on your webpage and I noticed you did NOT jump the ECU pin #18. According to the shop manual, there should be power on that pin for a manual tranny, and power on pin 42 for an auto tranny (when on park or neutral).

There is just too much stuff being done on this car and if it's a flaky sensor, I guess I'll have a lot of fun finding it.
