first of i wanted to say hi and that this is my first post on hyundai performance. i am a former ford focus owner and bracket racer and currently own a 99 elantra. i found these equtions and on my focus i was able to come with in 2 tenths of actual time i ran i didnt get as close with the elantra because i dont know stock wieght or horsepower so any help would be great.

ok here it goes you take the weight of the car and add your then divide that number by the horse power of the car then divide by the cube root on my scientific calcultar i have to hit shift then the squre root symbol that has a three in front of it know take the number you just got and multiply by5.825 and you should get a good idea on what your car should do in the quater based on wieght and horse power. this doesnt factor in bad track conditions or bad driving. i also have the equtions for what your mph in 1/4 should be and also how to figure out your horse power if you never had a dyno but you know the wieght of your vechel and how to figure weight if you know exact horse power. so if any one is intrested please.
