Well, here is my two cents.


I have the eibachs with kyb gr2's. Im happy with the combonation, BUT! with all the money ive spent on that and good rims and sticky falkens, I could have boughten a set of coilovers. And I have been kicking myself ever since. The more and more ive been getting into suspension its something i wish i would have done instead of regular coils and struts.

I know they are expensive, but you wont complain about the grip you will get. IMO, taking turns is more fun than going in a straight line. And being to adjust the ride height and firmness at the turn of a wrench its the best thing ever.

Let me remind you though, if you indeed decide to get the lowering springs, keep in mind that your stock struts will blow out. It happened to me, and many other friends of mine. Even a Eibach Representive i talked to in person told me face to face, that with the shorted springs, you increase your spring rate. A rate to which the stock strut can not handle. In a nut shell, if you are puting springs into a car with more than 50k miles on it, you might as well change the struts while your at it. Thats what I did. I went with the KYBs because they are a great OEM GAS replacement. I changed mine out at 55kmiles and i now just turned 100kmiles. And they feel just as good as they did when I put them in. Plus whats nice about the kyb is that they are cheap. And if you buy them from a parts store online (Advance Auto for ex.) Its common that they give you one free.

Then theres a third option. Ground Control Suspension Systems, These guys are the best in the business. Heres what you do, you call them up, and you tell them what you have and what you want. Example, Coil and adjustable sleeve for ________ strut. And if they dont have it, they will make it for you. Or match something from another make and make it work in your car. they run anywhere from 300-500bucks shipped. And to complament those coil/sleeves you can get Koni Yellow adjustable struts. Although these dont come preassembled, you can take your stock struts and pull the guts out and put the KONI yellows inside. Most machine shops can do that for you for pretty cheap if you cant do it yourself.
