So if i did that the 1.6 ecu will go right in and have no problems. I think it dose matter what engine you use. the 2001 have me immoblizer thingie in them. and the 99-00 ones don't. correct me if i am wrong about this? But it sounds like the eaisitest way to do a beta swap is to use a 99-00 beta engine. the 01- current dont go in that easy. thats what it sound like to me.
