Heh, my family has been into tennis, so I got to watch John back in his glory days. It was pretty serious back then and the crowd hated his tantrums, but then grew to love him and his antics. It seemed to grow more as a joke in his later career.
I saw most of the US Open that just ended and they were sponsored by American Express, who did a little skit with him.

He's right though. Since they now have the "instant replay" option, there's no more disputing the chair umpire. It's definately a good thing to have, but sucks cause we don't get to see any more arguments.
