Default Excellent Post

I have been considering that exact same process. I went on ebay and bought a new 2.0L for my 05 Elantra for $500 and I am gonna play. It only has 10k miles on it. Good deal. Incredible detail on your pics, nicely done. Now be careful with that 5 angle valve job, you reduce the lifespan of the valve seat by almost 50% doing that so be careful. Also, can i give you a little know hint good for maybe 5hp if your lucky. Since you obviously know how to disassemble motors, go to JEG's or Summit racing and get a set of Total Seal Gapless piston rings. They are file fit rings so they are a pain in the a** to install. But its 5hp and every little bit helps. They will set you back about $250.

Again, great post
