Yea, you have to pop out the axles. Make sure you drain your oil/fluid first. Then grap a screw driver and pop them out. Make sure you dont damage the seals. If you damage them, you have to find new ones. The tranny should come out with the motor. just disconnect everything.

Is it possible just to remove engine without taking the tranny out as well?
