Default Cat back? + intro

First of all, Hello, I am dustin, and I will be your new n00b for the day.

I bought an 01 tiburon a few weeks ago, and I love it, I was wondering though, is there any definitive way to determine if the previous owner had installed a cat back exhaust? I bought it from a small dealer, and I know the muffler isn't stock, and there is also a short ram air intake.

I had a 97 accent before, and I'm pretty ignorant as far as working on cars go (thats the great thing about accents ) I've been lurking around here and wikipedia for awhile, but any advice is appreciated.

Finally, I would love to talk to someone from around here (utah/SLC) about the "midnight drags" at the raceway here, or any other way to cure my itchy right foot without a speeding ticket.
