The rear brake cylinders are NOTORIOUS for leaking and causing slow or mild fluid consumption issues and soft spongy brake pedal feel.

Get those rear drums off and check out the rear brakes and check out the wear or adjustment of the rear shoes. A good service of the rear brakes might be in order.

Thats where I would start.
