wow Kias also. Almost all the KIAs in the local salvage yards in Louisville are hyundai based cars. There are just as many KIAs and Hyundais in the yards here. It has nothing to do with reliability. The simple fact is the resale is so low that when a accident happens to them the insurance companies total them. I own both a KIA and a Hyundai and both are very reliable. One of my Kias is easy to find parts because there was so many sold. My Hyundai on the other hand is a XG so not many parts in the yards. But there are lots of Accents, Elantras, Tibbys Sonatas. You won't find any Hyundais or Kias from the early 90s or older. Salvage yards here won't touch old cars. No money in them.
