First, what mileage are you getting now? What Tucson do you have? 2WD or 4WD? Auto or manual? 4-cyl or V6?

I'm getting about 24-mpg from my 2006 2WD V6 Tucson. The best thing you can do is change your driving habits. Accelerate moderately, use the cruise control, slow down, ease off the accelerator earlier and coast to stops, make sure the tire pressures are at least 32-psi (if not slightly higher).
