I'm pretty sure the genesis coupe shouldn't be compared to those cars like that.

The only ways the coupe matches those cars in any way would be that they all have 2 doors and all claim to be tuner friendly.

The 370z is closer to a roadster.(dare I say more?) smaller lighter and stronger plus missing a half a cabin, compared to the genesis coupe.

The Mustang GT is a V8. (dare I say more?) tho this V8 has similar horse power the engines focus is in torque. (racing focus is also in torque)

I would love to see the 3.8 coupe drag race against a G37
and the 2.0T coupe drag race a Civic SI
even if the Genesis coupe dose not beat its competitors in a race there is a price difference.
Hyundai = Bang for the buck (not to be confused with fastest coupe)

2010 Mustang GT 28K
2010 370Z 30k
2010 G37 37k
2010 Civic SI 22k
2010 Genesis coupe 2.0T (22k) 3.8 (25k)

Dare I say more?

heres some number to chew on
2.0T vs 2.0 civic SI

2.0T
Horsepower @ rpm 210@6000
Torque (lb.-ft) 223@2000
RWD
6-speed manual (city/highway) 21/30

2.0 civic SI
Horsepower @ rpm (SAE net) 197 @ 7800
Torque (lb-ft @ rpm) 139 @ 6100
FWD
6-Speed Manual (City/Highway/Combined) 21 / 29 / 24
