Default 1.5L SOHC.....need tech advise

i was wondering if the entire head from a 1.6L DOHC will bolt right on to my 1.5L SOHC and make it a 1.5L DOHC ? also either way, what is the difference between the 2 motors? stroke?

The 1.6L different block design(95% sure on this), head, bore, stroke, and timing belt. It would be cheaper/easier just to get a complete 1.6L, or beta swap.

anyway the 1.6 has 2 cams the 1.5 has 1 cam. if the extra cam means that much to you, you'd be better off swapping the 1.6 or a beta like dave said.

i was just about to suggest something to you but i forgot the old gt's were also dohc so nevermind lol.
