Default 2001 Accent GL

Ok I've noticed there isn't much for 1.6L engines, is it a easy swap for the 1.5L engine. I ask cause I would like ot do more to my engine but there doesn't seemto be anything unless it's a 1.5L

I think if your going to do something like a swap, why not just go up to the 1.8L or 2.0L Beta?

Yeah, if you're going to bother with a swap go to a 1.8L or 2.0L Beta.

If you want to stay within the "Alpha" series of engines, keep your 1.6L. Hyundai has discontinued the 1.5L SOHC in the United States and Canada so all Accents now come stock with the 1.6L DOHC Alpha. This means there will be part production in the future for this engine much more than for the 1.5L Alpha.

Would you happen to know if the engine bay layout would be the same in the LC 1.6L and the new 03?
