Default working rim/tire combo on 2k+ accent

Hello All,

Just wondering what some others have put on the 2k+ Accents, for a tire rim combo:

I would like a combo that doesn't require body trims or mods... due to the salt on the roads up here in Minnesota.

As in 16" offset of 40 tire size of 205/40 16's.. etc.

I would love 17" but if it cant be done I will down size.

Thanks Everyone,

17's are possible, might have to roll the fenders out a little. just make sure the offset is 40-43 and you should be ok. by the way . . . where in mn are you from. i go to skewl in winona, but am from lakeville. oh, and the 16" setup you have mentioned would be ok too.

even 16x7 rims w/ 205/40 tires are going to rub on the back. Anything 7" or wider is going to rub on that screw that holds the bumper to the fender. You're going to have to relocate it and roll your rear fenders.

Thanks for the help, kind of a bummer i will have to do some moding to get those 17" i found to work... Oh well it will look sweet..

Yesterday i ripped my orange reflectors from the lights , look nice now, the wife was miffed i bent the hell out of a fork to make my special tool , but turned out great..

She als wonders why guys insist or ripping apart a brand new car with under 1k miles on it... she dont get it, even though she really wants a neon shifter in her Cavi.. I dont get it now

I live near Alexnadria Mn, is right on hiway 94 about 250 miles from the twin cities.

I will be posting picks on my site soon.

Thanks again,
