You know how in the accent brochore it said that it comes with a self tuning engine. I never did get what that exactly meant, does it mean it fixes itself (which sounds impossible) or is it better than average by letting us know theres a problem. Could that be why alot of us get cel's even when theres not a major problem . Just curious uzzled:
Uhhh self-tuning?Can you post a scan up? If the manual said self-diagnostic I'd beleive it(true), but self-tuning I gotta admit I have a couple of doubts about, you know? uzzled:

I believe the "self tuning" refers to the computer adjusting to the various enviromental varibles that it may encounter such as temp changes etc. they use the term in many new cars that require a tune up at 100k the computer adjusts the timing to compensate for the conditions such as plugs getting dirty etc... basicly an fuel injected car is "self tuning" tey monitor the exhause and temps etc.and adjuste the fuel air and timing in accordance with these factors.
I bet you look into many cars and will see the same or simular verbacge used.

Uhhh dude every ECU has the ability to do this to a limited extent, but I was thinking that if it were self-tuning I could just pick up an OBD cable, plug it in, type 5000Bhp and it would tune itself!:lol::lol:jk

They should have hyped up the fact that their cars are tanks. In a 4-car pileup with a Sonata in the middle of 4 Japmobiles the Sonata came out with 0 degrees chassis run. The Japmobiles had totalled fronts and rears and propably needed a little half-cut help.:lol::lol:
