Most horsepower anyone has reached? - Hyundai Performance Forums

Some of you have places that will do dyn tests for you, so you guys might be able t help most of us accent owners know how likely we are to reach the 300+ hp range. could you guys post your hp's or what you think you've got. btw, grey ghost sweet ride! you definitely gotta post yours.

300+ hp on an Accent with an Alpha is pretty difficult and very very expensive.

There were a few members that had 200+ Accents in the States.

In Korea and other countries, some Accents with beta or 4g63 swaps have reached around 600 hp, but those are pure drag cars and costs tons of money.

La pulga, the X3 drag car in Puerto Rico was pushing over 400hp on the 1.5L SOHC... Best time with that setup was 9.98 ET's.

the engine didn't blow up, they wrecked the car. they gave it a facelift and new engine. it had something insane like 40 or 60lbs of boost going through that thing.

He didnt blew up or neither wrecked the car. He crash one night at the track and there they decided to put a beta on it. :lol:
