Yup. You just need to modify the bolt pattern on the TB by drilling new ones & dont' forget to purchase a new gasket. You'll also need to adjust the trottle cable accordingly. I'm sure someone here's got pics. Hope this help ya out Dood!

lol that was funny.
it might be just as easy to bolt up the whole intake manifold if you wanna go thru all that drilling and crap.

I don't see anything funny here :hmmm: maybe its just me. OH well in any case i believe the TB from the 97-01 which i guess would be all the years will bolt up with minor mods to your car. Don't quote me on that but i'm pretty sure :

this is a fairly popular mod with the X3 crowd, and a lot cheaper than buying an actual BBTB, next time I go to the salvage yard I'm going to see if they have one I can pick up

remember that you can use the tb from any 97-01 2.0 beta which includes elantra's also, in case you can't find a tib.

I got one for my car and put it on after doing all the mods but my check engine light came on. So I unhooked my battery for a few minutes thinking that would reset my computer and everything would be fine, but who was I fooling. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

leave the neg side of your battery disnconected for 15 min this will clear the comp!!!

turn your ingnition on but don't start the car for about a min or so this will alow the comp to recognize the new input from the TPS sensor!!

Start the car and don't drive or rev the engine for at least a min!!!

Next drive the car under normal conditions for 30 to 50 miles sounds like alot but won't take that long this will allow the computer to undestand the new Tb!!

I have a Super AFC on my car and when I hooke dup the new TB it took it at least a min to understand the position of the new sensor!!!

also don't switch sensors use the one that comes with the TB!!!!!

i want to put a tib tb on my accent but i've never heard of anyone putting it on a lc. Will it work out. Sorry to put a twist on the subject but i didn't want to post a new topic about a tb, since there already is one.
