Default Bodykits

Hey, i was just wondering if it was possible to fit a 2 door 02 accent bodkit into a 4 door 02 accent. I see at sharkracing only the front fits, but i just seen some kid's 4 door with a 2dr bodykit, and was just asking you people if it would fit. Thanks.

Default Re: Bodykits

It really depends on the kit you get.

For instance, the ATH WRC kit through Shark Racing can be ordered for the 4 door as well as the hatchback.

But, as a general rule, only the front bumpers are interchangeable from the hatchback to the 4 door. The rear bumpers take more time and effort to conform and don't always work out as well.

And the side skirts depend on how they are made. Are they pods or full length skirts? Obviously the 4 door has a longer skid than a hatchback. Also, this whole front bumper and interchangability thing works only with the 2nd gen Accents (00-02). I have no experience with the X3 (1st gen Accents), so I don't know much about them.

Who's car did you see, and do you remember what kit it was?

Also remember, you can buy a kit for one car and have it custom moulded to work with another car, it just costs more for the custom job.

Default Re: Bodykits

I have the jetspeed kit on my 4door i only used the front bumper the rear was fom the sick division kit and the mods to fit it on is work i wouldn't wish on my worst enemy. Sides can easily be made with ones from a civic i'll post a how to one day (sorry for you guys that e-mailed me on that subject i'll be sending replies soon i have just been really busy with school, work, etc......). If you want a back bumper that will probably fit easier would the one from the hve kit it would just need to be cut alittle. Keep in mind that is a guess i have never tried to fit the hve one but if i had the oppertunity to try again thats the one i would try.
