if you have the money(aprox $1200) and like to be able to adjust everything, true coilovers, if not then lowering springs can be had for $220 or so, although the shocks might not last as long, and the car can feel under-dampened with the stock shocks
coilover sleeves are not recomended by most people

I recently installed B&G springs on my 99 Accent and it looks good and the ride hasn't been compromised (except for the occasional clicking from the rear). I was originally going to go with coilover sleeves but my shop showed me a set of them that came off a civic. They were torn to shreds! The top "nut" was ripped off and the 2 adjustable rings (to adjust height) was no longer adjustable. I also failed to mention that when this happened his shocks popped through the hood and he scraped the ground with the bottom of his car and front lip for about 200 feet. The guy ended up buying full coilovers in the end. Make your decision wisely!
