Default Truly Custom Wheels

I didn't want to change the size.. (bigger wheel slows acceleration down) and they don't make spiffy 13inchers... and with the fact that there are Tons of Grey Accents in my area... i desided to do something diffrent.. and it acctually looks good. I needed to check the roatars anyway(i have been feeling some vibration). So when they were off i panted the black part of the rim behind the silver hubcap shinny blue.. It ended up looking really good. I have a pic of it.. but i have no website to post it on so i can't link to it. Might sound cheesy but i like it and its original, well i don't know anyone else who has done that.

P.s. Just thought id share my first modification

Default Re: Truly Custom Wheels

Hey! Post some pics so we can see your mods. Get a free webpage with Yahoo Geocities or Tripod and put your pics there.

As for wheels, you can go bigger without changing the overall diameter of the tire...

13" with 175/70x13 (22.65")
14" with 185/60x14 (22.74" +0.09")
15" with 195/50x15 (22.68" +0.03")
16" with 205/40x16 (22.46" -0.19")

All these have near enough the same overall diameter, so your acceleration wouldn't be affected. The wider tires would give a little more drag (both aerodynamic and frictional) but you'd get more than you lose back with a CAI. <img src=icon_smile_cool.gif border=0 align=middle>
