Default Making a DIY CAI friday

had to special order the 3" tubing but anyways I also got a tach and a K&N for my baby..I dont notice a big diff with the K&N but I still have the stock resonator maybe when I put the CAI on itll be diff...but with anyone else that has a DIY CAI does it really work? What i was thinking was on the bottom of the tube Imma put mesh on it to stop bugs and large foreign objects from entering bc we have butterflies like a mofo here...let me know!

Thanks

Im using someones page as a guide basically taking off the resonator and putting on a 4ft 3in diameter aluminum tubing(painted black) stick one end on the intake box thing, then take the other end and it should end up by the radiator by the bottom portion of the grill.....

Thanks
brad
