I have been looking to sell my accent for payoff(5k) to get a 2002 accent from local dealership

Good news on that for me though, parents are primary on the loan and they need a commuter car. Father thinks the muffler is sooo cool he wants to get one and put it on his 76 MG lol!

Just waiting for word from the loan company...

The 2.0 beta motor and tranny from the Tib will fit in the accent. you should be able to get this done parts and labor for around $3,000. The biggest problem is finding someone to do it.

This is what I have been planning to do but have not found someone to do it yet.

For the the installing, no problem, but for 3,000$,<img src=icon_smile_shock.gif border=0 align=middle>, it's very expensive. It's in US $$$ ??? Because, i'm in Canada and it will be more then 3,000$$$ for me, around 4,800 !!!! <img src=icon_smile_shock.gif border=0 align=middle> Mayby there's an other way to get more HP in my ride to beat Hondas !!!! Well, I see if I can find !!!!

I shouldn't cost you anywhere near $3000. You can source the engine, tranny and ECU for around $1200 or so, then it should only be another $500 to install it. It's a VERY basic installation.
