They can't say anything about it.

The only way it can void the warranty is if they can prove that it directly caused any problems that are happening with the car.

That reminds me of when i had my cat-back put on. The first shop i went to was owned by two older guys. When i asked if they could run a catback and put on my muffler they said "Is is one of those loud stainless steel mufflers?" I said "yea" and the one guy looked at the other and chuckled. I told them to foget it and left.

The dealer doesn't give me any grief about any of that. I have had a new catalytic converter installed when one of my coil packs went out and the engine dumped gas into the cat, causing the cat to clog up. I was afraid the dealer would void my warranty because of my exhaust, but it didn't. I have however heard horror stories about the hyundai dealers.

Eddie Mercer Hyundai in pensacola, fl are pretty cool, they switched out my alt twice for me ( I knew the problem was really mine, at one point i had probly more powere going to the trunk of my car then in the front of my car) I have 4 700watt amps pushing 12's in the back, it sucked so much juice that while driving a bass note hit and it blew my headlights and the (Air Bag) and Check Engine lights came on.

Took it to the dealership and they knew what had happened but swaped me a new alt. 2nd time i let the lot boy we have here was my car and he got water in the alt, i took it back to the dealership and they swaped it out again.
