i think i have to get new brake pads soon cause when i back up and go forward thier is a sckreech skreech sound only at like a low speed, so if i get new brake pads, are they easy to do yourself, can someone show me a step by step process on how to, cause i wanna save some money here and possibly buy the strut bars
Fitting brake pads is very very easy with a little common sense. You shouldn't even need a step by step. The calipers will have a bolt which you remove and will allow you to swing the caliper off the disc (taking the pads with it) - the pads then slide out of the caliper (dont throw the metal backing pieces away, you will need them for the new pads). Make sure you prise the pistons in the caliper as far apart as possible, put the old metal backing pieces on the new pads (make sure you get them the same way round as they came off) and replace back into the caliper. Swing the caliper back to the disc and put the bolt back in.
