Default 6 speed transmission

is it possible to install a 6 speed tenny on my scoupe if so how much work would it take, also does anyone know where i could get one examp(what cars come stock with one, a new one, etc.)

It'll cost around $15,000 to have Quaife make you a new 6spd and limited slip. Thats pretty much your only option.

Dumb, why would you want a 6 speed box for the scoupe anyway? The gearbox is short enough for 0-60 sprints, and with a 6 speed box with closer ratio's you'd be changing gear like mad when driving normally.

It would be cool to have the first five gears the same ratio as stock, with a higher geared (lower numerically) sixth for highway cruising. And a torque biasing LSD like those made by Quaife.

The Turbo version has a higher 5th. gear ratio than the N/A car.....you could probably buy one cheaply enough from a scrap-yard!.

My mods.(180 crank bhp.) include: cold air induction (with 12v fan & ram air), dump valve, FSE fuel pressure regulator, strut brace, rear (+2.5") spacers, Spax lowering springs & Pedders shocks. Subaru bonnet scoop & upgraded cockpit. Custom 2.5" exhaust with twin 4" tailpipes & 15"x7" alloys . Intercooler fitted + manual boost controller & oilcooler.

thats exactly what i wouldn't mind having i think. i'll redline my car before i can go any faster. And redline comes around 180 or so.

LOL, most of us here use mph and not kmph so maybe you should specify that you meant 180kmph before some claims BS. LOL:lol:
