alright...im goin crazy now tryin to find a mandrel bent pipe for my exhaust!!i went from one shop to another, and they all tell me to go to other selected shops, but all dont make custom exhausts!!so does anyone know if any sites that carry mandrel bent exhausts??if so can u please post up the link, and also if anyone knows how and has time to make a cold air intake and wouldnt mind me paying/shipping them for it, please im me on either aziankingz or ravinaziankid...or email me at ravinaziankid@yahoo.com thanks......
yeah, those places will make you a custom exhaust, but it will be crush-bent pipe. I went around for about a week trying to find a place locally that would do madrel bends, and no luck. I finally settled w/ crush bent, but I kinda wish I hadn't. If you can't find a place to do it for you, check out the KORE stuff, it's supposed to be pretty good.... If you plan on making any kind of big power, you'll definitely want to go ahead and put out the cash for mandrel pipe...
i asked pepboys, meineke, midas, and other local shops....they all said they dont do custom mandrel bends....ill check out jcwhitney and summit...i hope i can find it....if anyone has a link to the whitney and summit racing mandrel bent for the 02 accent....that would be much appreciated....
thanks:duh:
If you run out of luck, I have access to two exhaust manufacturers here in Sydney that can make single length mandrel bent piping for the Accent,or any Hyundai, in mild or stainless steel.
It can be supplied as the mandrel bent pipe only if you wish to supply your own muffler and brackets, or as a complete cat back exhaust system with muffler, flanges and mounting brackets.
Let me know if I can help.
Cheers

oh cool!that would be great!!..all i need is the mandrel bent piping....you dont have aluminum??how much is mild and how much is the stainless steal(include shipping)??....if you want to KIT im me on aziankingz on aol/aim....thanks
if you weld together mandrel bends the benifit of them is wasted if the welding is bad. especialy true with butt welded pipe, done on the car. internal dags are worse than press bent pipes done well.
it's another story if you can find a shop to do mandrel bends on one length. people have also shown press bends aren't that bad untill you go above 90 deg. there isn't any above 90 deg on an excel are there?
