im thinking about buying motegi mr12 16x7 +42mm offset, will there be any problems with these?

nope, get a 205/40 series tire. The factory offset is +43 so you should be perfect.

actually it wotn be perfect since stokc wheels are 5"( i think i cnat rember) and these are 7" ....so offset needs to decrease to move the wheel further out of the fender well otherwise it may nto fit b/c shock woudl be in the way of the rim(not with 43...43 is cool but wtih larger offset)

I got 205/40/17 on my car and they are 7"

I have had no problems with them fitting apart from a slight scrub around hard corners, with a rear sway bar there should be no scrubbing at all

17" rims with lowered suspension looks sweeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeet! X)X)X)X)
