i think you mean you need a hole in your fire wall to run wires through.
the grommet would be the little rubber thing that would seal the hole and hold the wires firm.

what you need to do is get under the hood close to the fire wall and look to see where wires are running into the car. this might save you some drilling. most of the time you will find a hole big enough for you to pass the wires that you need to get through. i am not familiar with your car so i cant give you too much detail on what you need to do but i am sure there is a hole you can pass the wires through.

if not then find a clear spot in the engine bay and drill from the inside of the car out a hole the size of what you need. i would recomend finding the right size grommt for the wire you are using before hand so that you dont end up drilling a hole too big. then insert the grommet and run the wire through. and presto your wires are inside. just hide them well under the carpet and run them to wherever you need them to be.

hope this helps. im sure someone will correct anything wrong that i said or give other ideas as to what you can do

What you COULD do...

pull the carpet away from around the firewall

have somone shine a flashlight around the firewall in the engine bay while you sit inside the car

look for any light shining through, and you may have a potential hole

worked perfectly for me... when I finally had the idea....after half an hour of looking...:dead:

I used the same hole that the speedometer cable comes into the cabin through. just take a clothes hanger and straighten it out. Stick it through right beside the cable. Tape your wires to the end of it and PULL. Instant hole with gromet.

I used the fender wells and door tube to bring wires into the car.

I also used the hanger trick to run the wires for my siren (alarm siren) through the sweep seal on the upper part of the engine bay. all the wires are completly invisible, no drilling or pokin holes for me, just run it along the side and sneak it in.

 :

I've got 4 gague power wire running, i didn't need to drill, just use the hole where the wires from your fuse box run through. use the coat hanger like ^^^ said.:

If you do end up drilling a hole, make sure your seal it back up good. Either use some touch-up paint or silicone glue. Cause the bare metal will be exposed and will rust quickly if water touches it. & also protect the wire good also wrap the part in the hole with electrical tape and then silicone it in place, all the shakeing & rubbing from the car will eventually wear away the rubber sleeve on the wire & may short it out.
