It all started when it got really cold outside my car won't start. I can't start my car with out pumping the living crap out of the gas pedal and sometimes that doesn't even work. When the car is running it runs great if i don't hammer on it, but after i start it i can shut it off and turn it on, it's just getting it started in the morning. I was wondering if any one else has had this problem or if any one knows what the problem is wuld they help me please. Thank You (92 excel)

I'm not an expert but you could have a bad alternator. that would explain the not being able to start it up at first, but being able to start it after it has been running a while.
that or in combination with a bad battery.
again...I'm no expert. aranoid:

is the engine not starting cause it needs a richer fuel mixture when the engine's cold? do you have a carb or fuel injection? maybe the choke isn't working. might buy a can of "quick start" (highly flammable spray) at a parts store, and spray it into the throttle body and then see if she starts up easier.
My battery is brand new that's not the problem. It just rotates but doesn't fire over, i''ve got spark and when i take the plugs out theres gas all over them so i think i'm getting gas which doesn't make sense to me because if theirs spark plus fuel there should be combustion?
